2020 195S Build Thread WARNING PIC HEAVY

Well dialed in the sound system yesterday. Got tone settings perfect, got volumes on both zones dialed in, and did a distance video test. System is as follows :
4- Wetsounds Recon 5s cabin speakers (stock) being pushed to 50 watts each rms
1- Revo 12" sub in vented enclosure being pushed to 500 watts rms
2- Wetsounds Rev10s on tower being pushed to 400 watts rms
1- Wetsounds Syndx6 for cabin :
Channels 1-4 pushing cabin speakers 1/2 gain
Channels 5&6 bridged pushing sub 3/4 gain
1- Wetsounds Syndx6 for towers :
Channels 1&2 bridged to one rev10 3/4 gain
Channels 3&4 bridged to the other Rev10 3/4 gain
2- Wetsounds Distribution Blocks one power and one ground
3- Wetsounds 17' wetwire Rca cables

Here's a walk around video of boat. I did cabin only first so the bass can be heard on camera. Once towers get turned up that's all the camera will hear (in person bass can still be heard). This was about 400 yards driving roughly. Very happy because as you can hear... Volume and clarity does not change ?

Damn. Not even sure I can post my wimpy music upgrades after that.

Nah. I just went overboard. I can always turn it down, but can't turn it up if I don't have enough was my thinking

Did a little shining today with something new the auto zone had. Figured I'd give it a shot. Super easy spray on, and wipe off. Shined up nicely. Did thunderstorm later on, and it beads up like crazy. So I guess it somewhat works....
20200407_152925.jpg

Then I got on the inside and did the same thing. Cleaned everything including seats, and put carpet back in the boat for the warm season. It's almost time, and she's getting about ready to roll....
20200407_171727.jpg

Being that Virginia is still on full lock down, and it hit 80° outside today. Figured I'd turn the music up a bit and float. Driveway style.... Apple juice I swear ?

Today's work was super quick, but another needed piece before it's time.

Greased up the bearing buddy on the trailer wheels, and tire shine of course....
20200408_162252.jpg

Yamilubed the rear end.....
20200408_164822.jpg

Not much left to do now. Next time I uncover I'll be putting the totes in their home.....

Haven't tried that so I'm not sure. I doubt it will fold fully down without hitting windshield though. Simple 3 bolts removes it though

That was going to be my question. Though it definitely doesnt look like it will. May need to see if I can find a quick release option or something. Was thinking about trying their swivel adapter. Guess i need to order one. I have to drop the tower after every outing. Might get annoying even with three bolts at 9PM at night.

Yeah for sure it would be annoying to do it every time you go out. Definitely would look into the swivels for that reason

Well I took the plunge on the reborn rack and it looks like I can make it work with out removing it to put the tower down. Like with everything else with this boat the clearances are tight.

Looking good. Glad it worked out. They are good looking racks for sure. I haven't tested how they hold the boards underway yet, but may do that in next coming weeks

Well got the boat out yesterday finally. Wasn't warm yet, but tolerable. 65° and partly cloudy. Water temp was a cold 63° though. So not much in water action. Put the boat in at our neighborhood ramp, and rode down the creek to the restaurant. They are doing dockside delivery. Sooooooooo daughter and I enjoyed some adult slushy.....
20200419_132716.jpg

Super nice just chilling on their docks again. With all this virus crap we miss our local restaurants for sure.
20200419_130802.jpg

Headed out the creek for a little cruise. 35 minutes of no wake mode sucks though....

20200419_151647.jpg

Hit the river for some go time. Didn't really open her up, but steady 25-35mph. A little bumpy out, but not choppy. Was blowing 10-15 out the south. If it was N/NW we would have never went out. This river is 2-4' in NW winds....

20200419_151051.jpg

This thing has an amazing view out of it, buuuutttt I did hit my head on it a few times. I'm not fully used to it being there yet. Might be a turn off for some of yall, but works great for me. Didn't move around a bit under way...

20200419_151212.jpg

Hit the sand bar to get a little sand in our toes. Really really missed this. Water was cold though, but my feet didn't mind...

20200419_130750.jpg

Collected our prizes for braving the cold, and rolled out....

20200419_165242.jpg

A great day all in all. Little cold, but felt good to finally float again. Added 2 hours to the boat. So I can now finally do my break in oil change. 10.5 hours on the clock ??

Couple "mods" got put to use yesterday as well.
Bought this hose extension off Amazon to finally get my hose valve outside the trap. Super easy to turn water on and off while flushing now....
20200419_110819.jpg

Here's my Riva Racing water outlets installed. I did the bilge as well, but didn't get pic. These things require you to stand on your head to replace. Literally stand on your head. Like lay across engine cover with both arms down in seat compartment, and your head on the floor in the same compartment. Pain in the butt....
20200419_111924.jpg

I bought the 3/8" versions. Totally wish I bought the 1/2" though. These black rubber washers are from the old pissers. The 1/2" would have covered them I think. 1/2" would've required a little boring out of the hole though. I didn't really like drilling my new boat yet. Maybe down the line I will. Work great though, and the billet looks way better then stock black imo

Now I kinda want one of those mirrors... this site is so bad for me. Lol

I miss lake side drinks. I may see if we can get out this week, I found out I know someone with private ramp access.

Mirror works great for sure. Helped me from having to keep turning around seeing if other boats are near as well.

We are so ready to get back to normal. Weather here still isn't right, but soon.... Real soon

Hahaha thank you. That was Sam Hunt. We are huge fans of his. Here's one for you to look up.... Mitchell Tenpenny "Bitches". It's not kids friendly, but made the playlist.

Also not sure if you can item this or not, but here's the playlist on Spotify..... Sand Bar, a playlist by Hoyt Adickes III on Spotify

Just checked out this playlist and was surprised to see these..... Thought I was the only jet boater that listened to Hick Hop. Once that Dee Jay Silver plays, things start to get loose on the sandbar!

Here is my go to.... It's ever changing though..

I have another more "adult" boat playlist, but it's reserved for the powerboat poker runs!

Oh yeah there's some hick hop in there. Although we are convinced that country rap is why God is pissed off and gave us the coronavirus.

Ours is ever changing as well. My daughter (23) adds alot as well. However, we don't delete much. We really need to go through it.

Definitely checking that out now
