2020 195S Build Thread WARNING PIC HEAVY

Here is my go to.... It's ever changing though..

I have another more "adult" boat playlist, but it's reserved for the powerboat poker runs!

Followed and downloaded for sure. Appreciate that

By the way.... That playlist is setup to listen straight through..... Don't shuffle?

Oh yeah. I'll try that. I keep my Spotify on shuffle. So when I play that I'll switch it.

Hahaha thank you. That was Sam Hunt

Hahaha thank you. That was Sam Hunt. We are huge fans of his. Here's one for you to look up.... Mitchell Tenpenny "Bitches". It's not kids friendly, but made the playlist.

Also not sure if you can item this or not, but here's the playlist on Spotify..... Sand Bar, a playlist by Hoyt Adickes III on Spotify

I'm a Mitchell Tenpenny fan. Love that song.

We are as well. Very much so. Although it's not a great song for the sand bar (we keep the playlist clean for people that bring out kids) it's on the list. Just gotta hurry and skip when it comes on ???

I have to do that a lot too. Lol. Ise my watch to control... but head unit with a remote option may need to come soon.

Got her 10hr oil change, and maintenance checks done today. She's officially ready for the warm weather. Bring it on. Throw the coolers, life jackets, and boards and she's ready....

Well boys..... Super excited to see this.....

Officially hitting our spot tomorrow for a day in the sun and sand bar. Hopefully I'll remember to grab pics, and not get caught up in the cooler too much. Maybe a video as well. Super excited to start the season off.

Well got a little extras done today other then just detailing. So here goes it......

Removed the Mirror because I didn't like that it's black. So taped it off, and painted White to match rest of boat. Should help with rusting as well. Not a great job though. I can see this getting lightly sanded, and hit with more coats soon....

Decent tape work at least.....

Got the fire extinguisher mounted under driver helm...

Then I spent some time on this site....

The card that came with my boat was actually empty. Like nothing on it at all. No clue how the conext had maps at all, but it did. My brother in law gave me an actual Navtronics card. So I put it into program, and started the slooooow download process of my area. Boom. Works beautifully. I now have channels (light colored areas), buoy markers, fuel stops, etc etc listed on map. Unfortunately conext Actia does not support sonar. So no depths listed, but I least I have channels now. Anyway here's a look....

She's loaded and ready for tomorrow. Can't wait.

The Navionics looks great!
1) For the fire extinguisher, did you remove the seat first and then drill a hole through the helm?
2) what wake tower mirror is that and where can I buy that? I just bought one that does a great job at only showing a great close up of who is driving???

Thank you. For the extinguisher I just used some really short stainless screws, and used the drill to install them.

Navionics looks good. I tried to update mine but it wanted ?. So nope.

Brother in law definitely hooked me up there. Perks of being a boat mechanic. Card came out of a boat that sunk

Well first official day on the water was GORGEOUS. Started out with a heart attack, and forgot to put drain plugs in. I know super rookie move. Not like I haven't boated for 10+ years. Doesn't help that they are right next to the Damn boat buckles I had to take off. No worries. Remembed it quickly and laid on swim deck to put them in. Heart attack over. Let's go. Super packed today which was a great site. Broke in the sound system right today. Learned it needs some tweeking. Wetsounds Amps do get hot..... Regardless of what anyone tells you. They do. Sub is definitely up too loud. Driveway tests sound great, but actually out on the water it's too much. I'll be turning that down for sure. Other then that it was a gorgeous day. Both beer coolers came back empty. So success. Couple pics for yall....

Hoping my audio is louder in the water too. Lol I left the tools to adjust in the boat just in case.

Looks like you guys had a great day!

It was a great day indeed. I keep a tool box as well. I think I either rattled the wires loose on sub, or blew it because it doesn't work. Cabin still works, but not sub. Guess I'll be digging into that this weekend, and turning it down ??

I'm just about to do the same thing to mount my fire extinguisher. Any idea on the length of the screws you used? Did you pre-drill a smaller hole first or just screw them right in?

P.S. Congrats on your first day! I took my brand new AR210 out for it's maiden voyage on Sunday. Guess what I forgot to put back in? Cleanout plugs! (Realized when I first gave it throttle and it didn't move!)

Happens to the best of us I guess.

Here's a pic of screws. I didn't pre drill at all. Just screwed them in. The head portion of the screw sits into bevel of extinguisher mount. So only 1/2" or less of actual screw goes in

What mirror is that and do you recommend it?

This mirror is from Reborn. Only had it on a month or so now. Quality seems great. Fits gorgeously. Perfect view out of it. I can see way off to the side of the wake behind the boat. I can adjust it lower or higher if needed. For $125 it's great for me. Plus it matched the board racks
