After running wot mine will do that after I stop it. Try to run your blower for a while and or let your engine cool off before stopping it. Open the hatch to let out some of the fumes I’ve heard is the reason it doesn’t turn over after running hard for a while.man super odd, i picked up a jump pack at homedepot so ill keep that charged up and with me. Luckily im only out on the lake instead of in the gulf that would get your heart pumping lol
Welcome aboard! There are a few SoCal members here in this forum to make you feel right at home. I got most my info and guidance on mods from this very thread. The OP is helpful/ knowledgeable and quick to respond.Recently purchased my 2020 AR190 from Bert's Mega Mall and have put some use to it, around 20 hours and have completed my 10 hour service. I have used the lake at Castaic, Pyramid and had fun at River, Havasu to Laughlin and back - different trips, Loving the boat.
Welcome aboard! There are lots of great threads about our boats. I have the many of the same mods and similar hours on the boat. I have not done the cone upgrade yet but have done the other upgrades you mentioned. I have not noticed any major changes with the ribbon delete.New to the group, and site, Hi everyone....
I must say everyone's post have been very beneficial, especially knowing I am not alone. Recently purchased my 2020 AR190 from Bert's Mega Mall and have put some use to it, around 20 hours and have completed my 10 hour service.

Question is has anyone completed the ribbon delete and installed L13? What was overall difference? Thinking about next upgrade before taking it out again? Also which model # on K&N air filter was ordered?

On the sub, it is a 10, weight should not be much, the wetsounds tower speakers had some weight to it, I am going to play with it some more. top speed, was about 34 mphs. The ad ons can cause drag we assume, but how much that is the hard part to determine.Welcome aboard! There are a few SoCal members here in this forum to make you feel right at home. Loving mine too.. and I bought from the same place back in May. Picking up on Thurs from break in service. I did that Havasu run also with the OP, and we came back while the sun was setting(awesome). Been primarily in the ocean most recently Mission Bay and Newport.
Does the additional weight from sub, amps and battery cause any drag on speed? What top speed have you been able to achieve so far both before and after sound upgrades?
I would like to get the boat up to the 40-45 mps others speak about, and I will be happy with that, coming back from Havasu or Laughlin on those long rides, seemed alot longer, feeling like an extra 6 mphs to 10 would do the trick.
Have you ran to Catalina as of yet?
I agree. If you figure it out please let me know. I max out at 36 with 75% fuel and alone while at Lake Perris. No LC13 or Ribbon Delete mods though.
Nope...I'm too chicken right now and here's why, lol. Went to Newport for 7/4 weekend. Beautiful weather, but seas were so choppy towards 3-4pm that I decided not to stay out of the marina for long. Lucky I did because this happened around 6pm on balboa island. If I did decide to go, it would have to be early morning with low wind and little to no marine layer. I would get a slip for the evening and then head back the next day. Due to covid, I don't think we can visit though.
I don't believe I've seen anyone with the new 190 hull (2019+) report over 40mph. I hit forty on a cool Ohio April day with cold water, 900' elevation. In the hot humid summer I see 37 max. I was getting more like 36, then I added sealant to tunnel and adjusted my reverse gate slightly which brought me up to 37. I haven't seen anyone say the L13 increases top speed. Some say ribbon deleted gets 1 mph.I would like to get the boat up to the 40-45 mps others speak about, and I will be happy with that, coming back from Havasu or Laughlin on those long rides, seemed alot longer, feeling like an extra 6 mphs to 10 would do the trick.
@cpthook wanted to say thanks, your thread really helped me, and everyone that responded, forgot to mention that.
I would do the same for a Catalina trip when time comes, until then I am sticking to the river or pyramid like, as I have not liked all other surrounding lakes near me, and I am in LA County.
Looks goodSo finally was able to do some upgrades this weekend. Nothing big. More cosmetics than really anything else. I took off stickers and added new wakeboard racks. Looks like a baby orca now.?View attachment 129199View attachment 129200View attachment 129201View attachment 129202View attachment 129203
Were you able to purchase the table mount separately, if so can you list part number and vendor? I ask because I see the stanchion and table sold separately but not the mount in the 2021 Yamaha Accessory and Apparel catalog. We were able to have the first productive weekend with the boat.
I was able to add:
Rear table mount
New boat name and logo
New tire cover
Boat buckles
Pelican case mount
8’ keel guard (forgot to get pics)
And first tow with the new F150
Ready for spring and some much needed boating next month.

Wow, what a nice built and a well taken care boat. Congrats! I have two questions since as of Friday morning I'm officially waiting for my AR195 (YES! and praying for it not to be cancelled). What brand are those wakeboarding racks and do they swivel? I really like the table connection on the swim platform but read here that the fiberglass in that area is too thin in the 19ft ft boat series and not recommended. Looks great to me on your boat, did you have to do any special attachment to it in order to ensure it's rigid enough? Thanks. We were able to have the first productive weekend with the boat.
