Hi,
I bought this boat new in 2021 and it has been nothing but a lot of fun for me and many others.

- Boat has ~ 460 hours (and increasing)
- Starboard engine was replaced on Yess earlier. So, it has about 20 hours on it.
- Glove compartment and one of the Aft lounging seats were also replaced on YESS
- Boat runs perfectly!
- Boat never saw salt water
- The boat interior can use new upholstry to make it look like new
- Comes with factory trailer and OEM Cover (worth every penny)
- Boat located on Lake Austin, TX
- Interested parties must see it in person
- Boat and trailer titles in hand

Selling because last season, I bought a new 2025 255 XD black and cognac. So, I am long on boats and need to part with one.

TBH, the 2025 is a small upgrade to the 2021 (gorgeous interior and improved wake, at a huge price increase). For that reason, I will be listing both with intent to only sell one.

For those new to Yamaha Boats, specifically the 255X series, these are probably the best boats built. High reliability, ease of maintenance (I do all maintenance myself), and are the fastest "surf" boats on the lake. When you floor the gas, the boat gives you whip lash (no exaggeration). Additionally, the shape of the hull allows you to handle the chop very well - I actually took my 2016 240 XE to the Exhumas. It was one of the best trip ever!

Serious inquiries only pls.

Great boat!

I’m curious though as I do not believe I’ve ever read on this site about Yamaha YES warranty replacing an engine. What happened to the engine that needed replacing?

Yeah, it did take them a few months to agree to it but they finally did.

The oil became frothy - mixing of oil and water. Dealer did a compression test that came back negative. However, I held my grounds as I know the mixing happens only at very high rpm’s - they did water test it and confirmed the cylinder head crack.

Yamaha does know about these issues because for their 2025 models, they specifically market improved cyclinder material (means they’re already aware of existing issue)
