Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and it appears that there is a lot o good knowledge and information shared here. So I'm hoping for some insight on an issue I'm experiencing with my new 275SE. The boat occasionally goes dead at idle speed (both engines at the same time stop). The push start buttons on the helm do nothing when this occurs. It feels like an electronic problem. Note: Boat has 2 hours of use time. Any guidance on what I should check would be helpful. Obviously, I will take her back to the dealer but I wanted to see if anyone had some good ideas on a few basic things to check first as I am hoping that this might be a simple issue, like a clean out latch switch, etc.

Check the battery connections first, especially the grounds.

It sounds like it could be safety switch related, like the ones on the clean out port hatch or engine hatch.

there are ways to make the rear hatch switches tighter also the kill switch may be bad where the lanyard connects you can push up on it when the engines won't start and if that gets them started you found the issue and need a new one or a better one.
