89th Birthday Party

Had a birthday party for our neighbor, George Hollendersky, George is celebrating his 89th birthday. For his birthday dinner we are started with a salad of Romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, thinly slice red onion topped with smoke bacon, dried Turkish apricots, Mandarin orange slices topped with Parmesan cheese and a homemade marmalade vinaigrette. The main course is a Prime bone in Rib Roast rubbed with fresh herbs cooked on the MAK 2 Star served with roasted potatoes, broccoli and a mixed mushroom gravy.
The birthday cake is a homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and topped with a vanilla peanut butter frosting. No candles were used on the cake as 89 was spelt out using red, white and blue peanut butter M&Ms. Sangrias were served prior to the meal as they are refreshing in this hot wether. The Chef even came out to meet the Guest of Honor
