Additional production delays for all boats according to my dealer and the attached letter. Bad news if you're waiting like us.

I ordered the same boat (195S Suede Gray) on January 9th and was told mid Feb for delivery. Got the call this yesterday that it was in and we are scheduled to pick up next Wednesday. When did you order?

We deposited on Black Friday (Nov.), but it was pre ordered by the dealer last August.. If you dealer has another I'll take it.

Wow!!! We bought ours from Park Marine in Kennesaw, GA. I know they got a huge shipment in this week, but every one that came in has a SOLD tag on it. I was looking before Christmas and they had a barely used 2020 195S on the lot that popped up on Boat Trader. I called and they said they still had it so I got in the truck and went over with my checkbook in hand, but it sold before I could get there. (It's literally a 25-min drive) After looking high and low for a few more weeks, I just went in and put down a deposit to order a new one.

Good Lord!!! That is beyond ridiculous. I commend you for your patience and Best of luck @kgower ...That really sucks bud.

Bummer, I'm waiting for a Navy 195s. Could of had the gray ones a couple times but passed. Maybe its a paint issue as well?

I was told by a Supra dealership that it has something to do with the gelcoat material and the freeze up in TX. Although that guy was kind of a skeeze, so it was probably all BS.

Anyway, if anyone wants to buy an overpriced 2020 212S, DM me. :)

I passed on a grey two weeks ago in NC. If I hear of another I'll probably jump on it if it's within about 6 hours.

i was at another boat company today and the owner was telling me he has 5-6 boats on order to build and he is having a hard time getting resin, gelcoat and fiberglass. the mfg and distributors of those are rationing due to supply shortages. right now he can only get enough supply to build one boat. he has one previous one sitting there built with a pair of yamaha 300's on the back, ready to goto the customer but he cant deliver it because he cant get the wire harnesses for the motors. yamaha is telling him maybe in may. there are definitely supply shortages. its not yamaha bs. boat companies across the board just cant get alot of things they need to make their product.

Yamaha as a corporation is having delays in all their product lines. A few weeks ago i was shopping for a Raptor 90 atv for my granddaughter i called every dealer around everyone said they had no idea when they were going to get any new bikes, atvs, etc. Covid really backed up everything. Some dealers said it could be early summer most likely but wasn't sure.
I was even inquiring about another street bike for myself and got the same answer, they had no idea when any inventory was due in. All showrooms are empty.
Plenty of Polaris junk but no Japanese stuff.

(I ended up finding a 2021 Raptor 90 100 miles away and drove there the next morning when they unlocked the doors for it. While I was there a guy showed up to buy it. He was out of luck)

Covid really messed up things for anything that requires products from Japan. Replacement parts or new production parts. That's the biggest hurdle

In addition... a lot of the independent truckers were forced out of business and as a result blots of products are sitting at the ports waiting to be delivered. Trucking cost have doubled and in some cases tripled which explains the $3000 shipping fees for boat deliveries. A friend of mine was chatting with a trucker at a gas station two days ago who had a flat bed of uhaul trailers and box vans headed for ca. He said he hauls cars for Hyundai from west coast ports all across the country, and he used to drive back to ca empty. But over the last couple of years in every town he makes a delivery to he can pick up uhaul assets and haul them back to ca, he makes more hauling uhauls than he does hauling the Hyundai’s.

I was talking to my guy at the sporting goods store and he told me most of their stores supply of rods and reels and other tackle are stuck at the ports.
