Any Concord NC members?

I have to take a ride to Concord NC to look at some landscape Equipment. Whats the area like? Is it shady? This is a Craigslist listing, Ive spoke to the gentleman several times, Im just trying to get a feel for the area. PM or answer direct.

All I know of Concord is the mall - something like 1 1/2 million sq/ft mall. It's massive. Lots of money around there, I can't imagine anything too bad. I'm about 45 minutes from there. @DieselCamel is a bit closer and likely has some better insight. For what it's worth, if I was in a similar transaction there, I wouldn't be worried. When ya comin up?

I've been through Concord several times and the parts I've visited were all nice. The Charlotte Motor Speedway is in Concord and so if the big indoor water park Great Wolf Lodge. I'm sure it has a bad section somewhere but overall really nice.

Sweet, maybe we'll make a full day out of it! Coming up Weds. Figured we hit IKEA for rental house furniture, grab lunch, look around, meet my guy and then grab dinner head back to Augusta.

I think you'll be very pleased with Concord. Hendricks Motorsports is located in Concord I believe as well.

It is indeed. My buddy is a pit guy for them and keeps trying to get me down there for a tour.

No kidding? Just reconnected with A buddy of mine who works in the garage and the pits for Jimmy Johnson. Im not a nascar watcher but I do shop at Lowes.

That would be fun. A little off topic, but Porsche recently opened a test facility near the Atlanta airport. You have no idea how bad I want to take one of those 911 turbos for a ride. They have a driving experience where you can test a GT3 but its like $850 for 1.5 hours. I really considered it but was a bit turned off when I read that your accompanied by their "drive coach".

If I recall correctly there's a Porsche dealer in Concord so that will give you an idea of area @njmr2fan

Well, they have to know each other! My buddy is the jack guy for the 48 car. (I had to google, that is Jimmie Johnson, lol. Not much of a nascar guy either)

Concord is basically a bedroom community for charlotte with a bunch of shopping and Nascar stuff.
