After a very frustrating conversation with Yamaha Customer Service as to why they would password protect the owners manual so you cannot print safety information, I have determined they are useless. I understand charging for a service manual but an owners manual......really.

By the way this is a $5.4 billion dollar company that cannot get a customer service email address to work "Sir the email address on our website does not work".

Are you saying that you had to pay for the owners manual?

I did receive one with he boat. However I like to keep all my manuals duplicated on the boat in a three ring binder, so I wanted a printed copy. The owners manual on the Yamaha website is a PDF that is protected so you cannot print it. I called and asked them why they said if I wanted another copy of the owners manual I would have to buy it because that is revenue for Yamaha Dealers.

The link above is a version of the owners manual that "magically" will allow you to print.

By the way all of Yamaha's competition will allow you to print owners manuals for free.
