I want to add a depth finder that reads over 100' to my AR220. My dealer does not know why the OEM depth finder doesn't read depths over 100'. Anyway, what is the best way to wire a ignition switched power supply for a Humminbird HDR650
finder?

Did your boat come with an ACC spare rocker switch?

No. Unfortunately no such luck in this 2023 ar220

Easiest way - wire a fuse block from the main 'on/off' switch to under the console and then connect your chart plotter to this. I like to leave my chart plotter on even when the ignition is off to watch for anchor drag.

To connect specifically to the ignition, run the same setup but put a relay into it and trigger from the wire directly behind the key switch.
