If you recently installed one of these on your trailer, please check the mounting plate for sharp edges, especially if you or your family are using your tongue to climb in the bow.
I sliced my leg open today pretty good just meandering around my trailer. After closer inspection, I found the bracket edges to be as sharp as a razor from when they were stamped. I filed all the edges until smooth. Hopefully at the lake tomorrow, flesh eating bacteria will leave me alone.
