Any ideas? I can turn on the bilge manually, works fine. But the auto sense is not auto turning on anymore. Even when water level is over the bilge pump. Quick check everything looks fine but not sure exactly where to look. Any ideas?

Did you check the fuse next to the batteries?

Did you try tapping it when the water is over the bilge pump?

You could try pulling the bilge pump out and see if the water sensing part got debris in it. The bilge pump is supposed to be removed at least once a year and the filter screen cleaned of any debris.

Where is the water sensing part of the bilge? I will check it. Also any idea what fuse it is? Will check that also. Thanks!

I believe there is an internal sensor on the bilge pump itself. Whether it is a float or an electronic sensor I do not know. One of the two things have happened to your bilge pump, either the fuse is blown, or it is just dirty and needs a good cleaning.

On my boat, there is a separate fuse holder in the battery compartment for the auto function. Just trace the wires off of the pump, one should go to that separate fuse holder.

There are two feeds to the bilge pump, one direct from the battery via the separate fuse holder, and another from the manual bilge pump switch on the dash. I know that some of the bow rider boats have the same set up as my boat does.

Found it. Blown fuse. Thanks!

Woo hoo!

There was another member on here that has a 2021 boat that had the same thing happen to his boat…. He changed the fuse and all seems to be well!

Wow - separate fuses for auto vs. manual bilge. I know there are 2 wires so I guess that makes sense but I would not have guessed that. I just tested my bilge the other day by filling the engine area to make sure the Auto function works.
