Bouncy Shoreland'r Trailer? Carlisle Stands Behind Their Product

You need a picture of your trailer vin/info plate which shows it should have came with radials.
When you take pictures of each tire it must be of the dot#
If you call the phone number on the first post here you will get the claim started

Well looks like I got screwed both ways on this not sure if the changed the way the plate reads at some point but mine says 75R/D which I assume means radials or bias ply can be used and my trailer on my boat I purchased in April 2017 has the old brakets.

Looking back it looks like everyone's plates said R/D which would indicate either tire could be used but they still warrantied everyone's?

Even though it says both the problem is that the biased tires bounce too much causing issues. They will replace them no problem.
Its worth the call and the little time it will take. Trust us

If you were a little closer i would say after you get your new tires i would mount and ballance them for free. Takes me no time

Its a three hour one way to my shop

I looked for the plate on my trailer, but there isn't one. Somebody must've peeled it off. It hasn't been there since I bought it new in July. It's supposedly a 2018 trailer. It also has bias ply tires.

Are you sure, its on the inside of the frame opposite from the spare mount

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I looked, but it's been awhile, so I'll double check.

In your claim you just stated that you had bias ply and they were supposed to be radials and they sent new radials is this correct? My trailer came with bias ply and I would love to swap them out o radials I was just going to buy new ones.

Looks like they sent replacements for exact same tire.

They goofed big time

I've emailed them, will see what they say.

Response is warranty replaces “product for product”.

I guess its time to sell all 8 and get new radials lol. That stinks sorry to hear that. I plan to try and file a claim this week we will see how mine goes.

Hopefully 10 bias ply = 5 radials ;)

If you do decide to go that route I know everyone has a tire preference but I have been using Kenda Karrier tires for years now on all my trailers except the current and have never had an issue knock on wood. I usually go up one load size over recommend as well so when I upgrade this trailer I will go to load range D as well if I don't get free radials of course.

I don't know if you can get D radials for those 14" wheels of ours.Or do they only go up to C?

Unless of course you pull a "@gmtech16450yz", lol, and go 15".

I'm currently debating this.
I just don't know if the 15"s roll so much nicer than 14", do they?

The Kenda Karrier does it's listed on there web site but I do recall the last time I ordered them they were tough to find I had to go to my local tire shop that carried that brand and special order them. The D loads in the 205 75 14's were easy to find but the 215 wasn't.
