I have an Interstate AGM dual purpose battery for the engine start. I was wondering the AGM battery could be charged at 25 A so I contacted Interstate batteries and the Tech CSR sent me the following. The answer to my question was yes the AGM battery can be charged at 25 A as long as the voltage level doesn’t exceed 14.7 volts. I would imagine other brands of AGM batteries would be the same.
