It's 5 minutes from the house for me so heck I all need is a free hour and I can get on the ICW for a bit.

I can be on the ICW in about 45 minutes but I can't imagine how much gas it would take me to get from Brunswick to Myrtle Beach.

@ACrews I'm here any weekend you want to come as long as there is not a home Carolina football game lol. Only reason I didn't change my plans to go up to the game on Saturday was I had already promised my tickets to someone.

LOL are you kidding weather forecast now looks perfect we are set my good sir! @veedubtek if you want to come into Myrtle Friday night on the way back from Jacksinville you can drive my boat and I will take my ski as the crew may want to run. We could even possibly roll down to Charleston and still do the locks run. @Ramblin Wreck go ahead and tow up I will get you out a couple times this week if you like even if its just for a few hours here and there. The ICW here is a lot different then what you may think its nothing like Florida @veedubtek can tell you there are tons of fun runs and interesting things to see here. I will drag you and the fam out on he boat one night for dinner at worst case.

uggg this is killing me........ I've pretty much mentally checked out. I even pulled the plugs and changed the oil/filter in the driveway yesterday....havent reinstalled the new plugs. worse yet, I made an appt for the gas-man to plumb up my new firepit project this weekend....... Raleigh is just starting to get overcast now. I embrace your energy @Ramblin Wreck

My buddy was up on Lake Moultry this am for a bass fishing tournament - said they were expecting 15-20 mph winds. That ain't fun in a bass boat. As nice as it was for brief periods today, it was not good for a long run in these parts. Weird thing it that it can be lightening and storming in Moncks Corner but not a bit down by the Cooper River Bridge. The storms can be swift and significant.

Yeah that's typical coastal weather for you. We never saw a drop of rain today. According to the gps we logged 180 miles so all in all not a bad day. We flew back averaged about 45mph the whole way back to Myrtle we left Isle of palms at 2pm and we're back at the dock in Myrtle by 4pm. We ran around the harbor and went to Fort Sumter, Castle Pickney, and patriots point. We had a blast.
