Drain plug housing sealant strength question.

Could not get my plug out. I could just get it open just enough to see something stuck..Took the plug housing off. What do you know.. the chunk is the same size as the hole.
Was about to order some 3m sealant and thought I better ask what strength to order. In the event I ever have to do something like this happan again.

I’d just use standard silicone on that. There is no pressure or stress on it.

Silicone is what is used on the scuppers … copious amounts.
