So my Conex was lowering my radio vokume whenever it wanted by itself, so i decided to bypass it and installed Fusion MS-SRX400 ApoMarine Entertainment System with MS-ERX400 Ethernet Wired Remote.20210920_125901.jpg20210920_140456.jpg20210920_150912.jpg20210920_150429.jpg20210920_150915.jpg20210920_173108.jpg20210920_173221.jpgllo

Nice, I'm guessing you didn't use the cell phone holder? Are you concerned with the knob on the remote unit rusting out like the older boats used to do with it being on the swim deck area?

That is interesting because I just ran into a similar issue but with the panel to the left of the screen. The one with the cup holder and where the start buttons are that folds over the console. I noticed the bottom loose and when i looked, the screws are also glued and that is what gave way. I used some 3m double sided tape to fix the issue.

Surprisingly for the AR that piece is $1k from Yamaha. Have no idea why its that expensive, its just a piece of plastic for the most part.

Yes glued screws, if you go to tight it’ll be broken

Hmm this is tempting. I have been having noise/signal issues coming off from the factory. I have a AudioControl Matrix to put in place. If that fails I may go this route.

I used an audio contral lc1 which cleans and increases the voltage, works great but the issue was with the connex

You shouldn't need the LC1 with the Fusion.

I dont , i said i used with the connext, the fusion puts out 5 volts, no line driver needed. so far i like the fusion the remote is very eay to connect via ethernet cable

Repowered the 4 jl8.8 cans with a Wrt Soumd SDK2 @2HOM which will feed 320wts to each of the cans. Dony worry gains were set at 250watts using a multimeter. V= Square root of WATTS X OHMS. But since each can hamdles 250 w.....v=sq root of 250x2. Did the same to the jl700/5 poeering 8 jl m3 @90 watts each and the 2 subs @ 2ohms = 300w x1. So far soumds amazing.

What made you go with the riser?

Boredom lol, i figured it couldnt hurt so why not, i do lots of boating in the ocean, i can see how those can make their way into the bilge....by the way i tried the self bailer on Sunday, a bit rough at the lake the pump never kicked in, and not a drip of water when i retreived the boat. I dod buy the plug for leaving the boat for extended in the water

Where did you get the self bailer? Never seen those before.

Do you think it lets water out while you’re underway on plane? Or does your boat just not leak at all now with the riser?
