Finally broke her in, now upgrades and build

got it from jbpilot but i ordered it in december

Did they send give you a heads up that it was shipped or did it just show up one day? I ordered 2/2/2021 and I’m waiting to put my boat in my slip until it shows up. It rains a little to much in the northwest not to cover it. I love your upgrades by the way!!

Guys keep an eye on the push buttons at the helm they go bad quick, the firts to go bad was one of the accesories, this past weekend was the horn momentary switch, dont have time to wait for warranty as Bimini is fasta approaching and dint want to buy the stock junk from yamaha, so i ordered 2 Bocatech switches to replace them.

Odd. They should all have little tabs to prevent that (other than the red butt connector). Even the butt connector should have a detent to help it be secure. Were they maybe not plugged in all the way at production? Or did you have the panel out previously?

Scary. Those are not the only connectors on the craft...

So yhese little things hold the rear cushions in place they actually suck, iremoved them and use lock tite adhesive to hold em in place along with the timy screws, we will see how it holds up

4 hrs, mostly at 20 to 25 mph, burned 44 gals. Blue Water Marina had gas.one of my friend was in a 27' center console i made it to Bimini 35 minutes faster, the 252 handdles great, it isnt and offshore machine but with the right technique it can do really good.

I think you are the first 2021 25 footer to make the trip. Good to hear you only burned 44 gallons so that leaves a good reserve capacity on the 75 gallon tank. I was curious with the new hull how much gas would it burn on a trip like this.
Was it a rough crossing since you stayed around 20-25 mph?

I think im the 3rd 252 to cross, yes it was rough 4 and 5 footers, it handdled great no real hard landing like on my 242, our group was just too big with about 25 jetskis some only doing 10 mph. We are staying 2 extra days cuz of weather so leaving tomorrow wednesday at 8 am.

Wow, ok, good to hear it handled the rough stuff fine. Good luck and be safe crossing back.
