Help!

Is the roller arm correct? doesn’t seem like the eye can touch the roller. should i flip the arm? move the bolt?

Don’t have your model boat, but from the photo it looks like at one point the lower mounting point on the roller had a bolt through it. Was the arm removed at some point?

What’s up with that???

Did you move it already? That hole looks like something had happened there.

It does not look like its going to hit the boat...... the upper roller should prevent this. It does appear the roller assembly was bolted in the back hole and the boat hit the rollers hard and elongated the hole..........then it was moved back to a new hole allowing the boat fiberglass to get closer to the trailer.

IMG_5149.pngI just searched fsh255 on google and this 2024 showed up. Not sure if it helps. But it looks like your bow roller assembly is mounted very differently than this one.

It is the same set up....... it just located in a different hole. His has a damaged hole and was moved 2 holes back from boat allowing the metal protrusion to get close to his fiberglass.

thanks for all the replies. yes it was moved when i had someone put the new bow rollers on. looks like they didn’t put it back correctly. next time i take it out ill move it and that should get me fixed up! Thanks!!!!

Right on…

As a fyi, if you shoot up a flare with HELP as the title, people are going to assume you need immediate help and will respond quickly to get you going. It is good form to respond with the same alacrity as the site members attempting to help you.

Whoever the “someone” was that swapped the rollers looks as if the obvious was ignored as the position(s) that were used when it was reassembled were unused positions, and obviously did not take note of how it was positioned before starting the work.
