JetBoaters.net Bimini Fling July 10th to 15th 2017

We will see how long I can track as I forgot the charger and have 25% battery. I thought I brought it but knowing me it's in the counter where I put it before the trip...I may see if the office staff has one I can use.

Is this the micro USB cord for your inReach? That is used for most android phones so it should be easy to find.

Well looks like @2nazt will make it back in under 2 hours he has been running about 37 mph the whole way.

I took a new friend of mine out on the AR240 this last weekend (Lake Lanier) and we had a great time. He enjoyed it so much that he went out yesterday and bought the exact same boat! Now I'm trying to convince him to bring it on down to Bimini this year....

Must have had some good water coming back

This morning's forecast was 1/2 foot seas with wide 13 second spacing and low winds. Lets hope for similar water in July!

Well @2nazt made it back in an hour and a half thats a pretty solid time as @Bruce mentioned it appeared he had some outstanding return conditions.

Weather was great till 10 miles out and it turned into a close 2' washing machine. Had to slow down for some large boat traffic. It was awesome. I was going to speed up earlier but just enjoyed the ride. I was running 4800 rpms with no tabs and hardly moving. I hit 10 miles out and dropped to 4100 rpms and partial tab and just took the little bumps. It cleared again the 2 miles in. Great trip

Question:
I notice that one of the local dive shops organizes "snorkeling with dolphins".
I have also noticed on some of the videos that jetboaters have encountered dolphins before. How likely is that we encounter dolphins or would you recomand that we schedule a snorkeling with the dolphins through the dive shop?

We got some good intel last year I would say it would probably not be hard to find them. They are usually hanging out on the North West side of the island.

Dude (Greek Dude),

We will be hanging out with the dolphins. It is even on the agenda.

My family spent a day of 2014 searching for the dolphins. After gathering intel at the infinity pool after the group went home we managed to find them in 2015 and they were the main event in 2016.

The text on the agenda is all weird. There is no "Beta" no "Gamma" or "Psi". I want to say it is all Greek to me. LOL

Yeap that is one the videos I had seen. I cannot wait. We are starting the towing on July 1st, so less than 60 days for me.

Here is the smooth sailing leaving The Sands today.

Wholly cow that's even calmer then I thought it would be that is awesome.

I wish we had footage of 8 footers. I am currently deciding the type adult diaper I will need. I am debating betweeen regular and heavy duty.

That is what we experienced on the first trip over to Bimini in 2011 and have never seen those conditions again but hope to see it soon.
