Completed LectroTab Trim Tabs Group Buy 2020-Ends March 31 2020

Yep, me too! Charged and on its way! But not supposed to go to the boat with the stay-at-home order....

Oh, well. Lots of work to do for work anyway.

Hey guys has anybody talked to Lectrotab about a Scarab 255 twin rotax with twin coolers on possible mounting cofigurations at all?

I would call them and talk to Russ, he can probably help design something if they dont already have something set up..

UPS notification today, delivery tomorrow. Guess the boat goes to the Marina on Sunday for the week.

Thanks
VaMarine
I did try them today but he's away until monday. No big deal I'll in michigan and have about a month...unfortunately until I can do 60 MPH on glass !!! Have a great quarantined Holly Holiday guys !!! God Bless

Has anyone installed, I seem to have issues with mine and will have to take them off and reinstall. The tabs seem to wide for the boat and I lost almost 10 miles per hour when they were installed at lowest deployment. The boat is difficult to steer as well.
I left a mes, but it’s Easter weekend so I don’t expect a call until Monday or Tuesday.

I haven’t got into mine yet, instructions tell you where to place them on the back?

It’s here ! It’s 40 degree Fahrenheit outside! It’s so not fair!

please post pictures for us

@Jerry Ferrera you need to post some photos of your install, what kit you have and give us a better description of how they are installed for us to help you.

I am going to rework it before posting pictures, let's see what others have to say about the install first.

@Jerry Ferrera not sure of your hull profile but does your install look like this (courtesy of Swatski)416E7238-39F9-44EC-BFEB-34EA91C7E695.jpeg

and did you mount the tabs 3/8 above the bottom and adjust the angle of the chord (length of the tab) as shown in the diagram?

All good I think my off set wasn’t enough I’m going to rework and correct sometime this week.

i love these things. Finished install and tested o lake Tarpon 20knot winds and boat did awesome. Cross wind , chop no problem. Boat tracks awesome I can let go of the wheel and boat tracks like an outboard.

Pics, @Jerry Ferrera ? That is a pretty big turn-around! But a good one. But for those of us who are getting our packages tomorrow, what was the issue with the first install attempt? And how did you fix it? Please, let us learn from your experience!

Oh yea........ You asked, here goes. The piston twists the end attached to the trim tabs will twist, allowing you to flush mount the upper part of the piston arm to the boat. I didn’t find that anywhere in the directions. So of course I had to remove the initial install to find this out.
now I have to fix the small holes.

You can twist and this will allow you to flush mount the upper part
