Installed a new one and today I am noticing that it is not automatically pumping either. I can push either button to kick it on but it does not seem to be running automatically. 2021 ar252X. Is there something else on the boat that neeed to be done. I have replaced these before on other Yamaha and it’s always been plug and play. Thank you.

There are two feeds to the pump… the auto side is usually fused separately… look for a individual fuse holder near the batteries attached to the bulk head.

The Manual only shows one fuse for the bilge. Pulled and tested and it shows good. Any other thoughts? The manual doesn’t show another bilge fuse that I see.

Where was the fuse?

Is there a push button circuit breaker near the rocker switch?

No there is not one on the dash. The fuse for the bilge is in the battery compartment. Manuel shows it should be a 3 amp but there was a 4 amp in it but it showed good on the meter. If you have any other ideas I would love to track this down. Thank you….

Where is the manual switch ?

Okay use a multi meter and check the fuse socket itself. If that checks good then check the wires at the bilge pump itself.

Glad to help out!
Sometimes you have to actually test the fuse on the little tiny test points on the back.

I appreciate the offer! Perhaps I’ll end up there someday!

Tight lines!
