@redthumper9 He is 6. This weekend was the first time he stayed up for distance / time. Partly because his driver ( me) was finally getting the speed right. On his last couple runs he was working the edge of the board a little, spraying a little water. It was totally cute and awesome.

I hope he is as excited about next year as I am.

His almost 5 year old brother gets up and then falls. He might have gone 40 yards once. However, he is the more competitive one and is already talking about next year.

Both my boys are about 42 - 45 lbs and it is the right size for them. My niece (10 years old and 70 lbs) rode it very well this summer. I expect to get years out if it.

I too, have the Hyperlite Motive Jr. 119cm. Luckily it fits both boys now.....next year I'll probably buy my oldest the Ronix Vision Jr.
