We rent a house for labor day weekend every year, with a group of friends.. and spend 4 days there.

Cool. I'll keep you in mind if we decide to rent there next year. We sometimes get in a bind as there are not a lot of rentals at Mitchell.

@MikeyL river is in great shape, very normal for this time of year. I was anchored in a lagoon off the main channel created by the Army Corps. It's a dredge pile that they took a bunch of sand out to build some islands down river, which created this really nice lagoon.
