My view from last night...

Finally have a nice opportunity to drop her in the Puget Sound and after a nice evening we head back to the launch and what's that I see...a body floating face down. The cop told us that he jumped off a ferry or cruise ship.

Might be a little bit before I can get my better half on saltwater again. But look at that water, it was so nice!!

Well. . . .this is technically his last outing. . . .20180712_185404.jpg

Here's one from back in the day that she ruled the seas (courtesy of Wikipedia of course):

"Massachusetts shelling Kamaishi, Honshū, Japan on 14 July 1945. Outbound projectiles of a full broadside of her 16" guns are visible in upper left of photo."

Obviously air power is king now and the battleship's day is over, but the ability to lob a Volkswagen over the horizon is nothing to scoff at.

I won't bother with pictures of lightning that only allowed us 20 minutes in the water

Maxis tires
About 6 years old but only about 2k miles on them at most
I think I rubbed a curb leaving the neighborhood

Parked it in the back lot at the office. That rusty old machine in the background was a prototype for one the SMALLER machines we make.

At the Aunts river house on the Ohio River near Wesport,KY. Was super nervous to leave the boat on the water overnight, but a quick check this morning shows all is well aside from being covered in dew.

$631 left at Discount Tire and now I'm good to go. Thankfully this didn't happen on the way to Shelbyville.20180713_161558.jpg
