I'm in South Central PA (Dillsburg) and we boat on the following lakes:
Susquehanna River - Conowingo Dam, Clarke Lake, and York Haven Dam (near Three Mile Island)
Raystown
Blue Marsh (Reading)
Chesapeake
I believe RNYC lives near Beltzville Lake which we haven't been to but here good things
On the list to try:
Curwensville Lake (near 80)
Sayer Dam (Bald Eagle State Park near State College)
Wallenpaupack (near Scranton)
Beltzville (near Jim Thorpe north of Allentown)
There's also some nice lakes down in Virginia:
We've been to Lake Anna and Smith Mountain Lake
And there's Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland
Let me know if you need any more info on the ones we've been to.

Oh nice. I live in Hanover. We have a nice lake, but goofy max 20hp law. Thank you for all the ideas. We’ve been to SML, DCL, and Anna. Looking for places closer. All those sound great. Thank you. I’ll research them and hit you back with questions. Susq river is pretty rocky isn’t it? Do you feel safe out there on it?

It's a shame Codorus isn't open to bigger engines, it's larger than Blue Marsh (and nicer) which is unlimited HP. The Dams on the Susquehanna aren't bad, York Haven can get pretty shallow around the Islands, Clarke isn't bad - it gets shallow on the far side, and Conowingo is big and fairly deep, it is rocky up around the islands but the main part is good. The biggest issue is the stuff floating in the river - sticks, logs, trash, etc - especially after storms when everything gets washed into the river. You have to be careful and keep an eye out for the "floaties".

The top one is Lake Wallenpaupack, closer to Greentown, Pa. the signature image with the club logo is from the shores of Lake George, that location is in Hauge, Ny.

Where do you put in at when you go to Conowingo
