Last night my wife and I were pulling the boat out, she kicks ass driving the boat on the trailor FYI. Anyway two guys were getting there boat out and at the last second the driver panicked and floored the boat. Next thing you know there 28' plus Cobalt was sideways on the trailor prop spinning and stuck. The guy trying to hook up the trailor slips in the water while he's screaming " shut it off, shut it f@%$ng off" my wife wants me to go help and I felt the best thing was for us to get the hell out of there, go to our dry slip and let them two figure it out. I wanted to take a pic and was trying not to laugh my ass off, after they shut the eng down. But figured karma might come back to haunt me some day. After we had or boat tucked away went back to check on them and they had the boat on the trailor, but you could tell tension was still high. The hole time I kept telling my wife "those dudes were lucky nobody got hurt and that they weren't at a public launch, everybody would have been taking pics" I still kind of wish I did.?

Good on ya for not taking pics... in this day and age that makes you a maverick. Lot’s of drama at the boat launch.. my favorite is the people straining their guts out trying to hold the boat instead of tying it off...

It was pretty scary for a few seconds. A big ass boat sideways on the trailor and the prop spinning, not fun...Dont get me wrong (once they shut the eng off) I was laughing my ass off, but I keeped my back to them so they couldn't tell.

I got one my blooper for the season out of the way on my first trip of the year yesterday. Forgot to undo my boat buckles and my whole damn trailer starting floating????. Realized it and just pulled back out of the water and undid them. I felt like an idiot but only one old man witnessed it!!

I did this a couple months ago. Felt like an idiot Lol

I had my blooper this season, well not my fault. I had a guest on the boat, and I specifically said do not get off the boat until I have tied up, just throw me the line. What does she do? Jumps off, kicks the boat sideways and face plants on the dock. Luckily she was fine. The boat did get completely sideways in the landing, and I became a pro jetboater that day with getting it back normal. Now I just handle both front and rear ropes by my self when I get off.

Why did you do that ? Next time just leave the boat on the trailer and unhook the hitch ,
Yes people do that
