A good way to avoid chips on your hull

 
That’s a different and interesting way of doing it. Are you currently running this or going to? I made my own rock guard and it’s worked great for years.

I just have the rock guards that are like mudflaps like yours that attach to the hitch itself. Just saw that Ocean South was selling them and thought I’d throw it out there for everyone.

That’s not a horrible idea except I’ve got so much on the front of my trailer right now, I don’t think that these would work. The spare tire is mounted on the right side and I have easy steps coming up from the front. Not a bad idea, I’m coming from an aluminum boat that I didn’t have to worry about rock chips to a fiberglass, so I probably should do something.

Also, I have a 3 inch hitch with a B&W receiver. More difficulties.
