I have a 2003 gti and took it into Shallow water and sucked up mud or rocks. Once I got out of the shallow area I gave it gas and it started making a bad noise and vibrating. I took it apart and can’t find what’s wrong. The wear ring to the prop has 30 thou gap. The wear doesn’t have any gashes and the prop has a few nicks but nothing that should stop it from not accelerating. I took it out by myslef and it seemed to work fine. I put another person on the jet ski and it would vibrate and make a Wierd noise. Anyone have any clue what could be wrong??

cavitation either the impeller being bent is just enough to cause it or the 30 clearance is getting out there that is a lot of clearance anything over 20 can do that on a small pump
