So I see a bunch of threads about the fuel always showing at 100%, but I don’t see an actual result, if any. Some people state to run the fuel down and then it will re-calibrate the gauge and all is well. Does this seem right, or is there an actual fix/ calibration reset? I always refuel after each outing, and I know I’m not that fuel efficient that I still have 100% after running 12-15 miles.

On our 21 195s we have to go through almost 10 gallon (25% of the fuel) before our guage moves. That equates to 20-25 miles depending on hard we run.

Thank you for that. I didn’t fill up last time and going out today, try to burn more down and get it to move.

We fill up 9.9 times out of 10 before every launch.

Update, just got off the water, ran her pretty hard and the fuel level dropped to the mid 90s. Still not sure on the accuracy. Won’t know until I fill it up before putting her away tonight.

Bought our '23 a few months go, came with a full tank of fuel. We've been out 4 or 5 times, couple hours of running around, hanging out, tubing and surfing. Took two days to drop off 100%, down to ~85% now.

Figure I'll fill it when it read 50% and see what it takes. We only go to a relatively small lake, no risk of running out miles from the dock.

mine move to 90% after using 10 gallon. To gauge your usage, wait til the gauge move, remember the percent, then fill up the tank, so you know at x percent in the gauge you use x gallon of fuel. This is how I track my fuel

2021 SX190 here. Ours always reads 100% regardless of fuel level. We have almost 300 gallons of fuel currently available, lol. I'll be taking it in for a warranty fix.

Jumping back in on this. I brought the boat home and did some simple PMs. When dropping it back off at the storage lot I filled the tank. Just over 10 gallons used during the last two trips, actually seems pretty fuel efficient considering the amount of people we have been bringing with us. I try to keep the speed around 26-32mph, seems the best cruising speed for comfort in the bay but like to get on it every once in a while to pass those pontoon party barge boats. During our last trip, I believe I recall seeing the fuel drop to the 80% area from 100%. $47.00 later and we are ready to go again.

On your connext screen, there should be a usage page where it will show the amount of gallons used. This has shown to be far more accurate than the % gauge. In my experience the usage / used gauge has been accurate to 1/10th of a gallon.

Thanks, I will have to do some research. I know on the screen it calls out the total gallons used and average MPG, but I will have to see how I reset that after each use. I have seen a reset button on the screen, but I think that clears the hours, top speed and everything at once. I like knowing my running hours so I can plan my maintenance intervals accordingly.

The screen with the -fuel used- is different from the “wellness” page where the time since last maintenance is. Across the top of the connext screen is a list of pages, the fuel used, mpg, top speed etc looks like this symbol I__I. I believe the total engine hours are displayed on that same page as well at the very bottom.

Once you get used to using the total gallons used and get confidence with it this will be the go to gauge for fuel. Its annoying that your % gauge doesn’t seem to be working correctly, but as I said before, in my experience it’s very accurate. One time I ran my boat so low on fuel, 1% on the gauge, that when I tied off at the dock my starboard engine quit running, had to put it on the trailer with port engine, once on the trailer both engines ran. When I filled the tank the reading on the pump was only different by 2/10ths of a gallon than what the total gallons used showed.
