So I went to re-install my t top on the boat after installing the new canvas. I noticed the dealer had installed lock washer under the lock nuts that holds the top sections to the legs. Only problem is the bolts are not even long enough to make it to the nylon insert in the nut. My gut tells me there should just be a flat washer under the nut? Was just wonder if someone could verify this?

If nobody gets an answer for you before, I will be up by my boat this evening and get you an answer.

There are no flat washers on my T top. The only washers are lock washers on the six allen head screws that hold the uprights.

Typically nylock nuts start to lose their locking ability after a few remove and replace cycles, you can feel them start to loose the tension from new. You can put them on a steel bench or the ground with the nylon section up, using a hammer gently tap the nut across the entire face and it will increase the crimp on the nylon and force more nylon towards the center of the nut to interface with the bolt increasing the hold it has.

My 2018 210 has counter sink hex bolts, flat washers, and nylon locking nuts. No lock washers.
