I am planning on taking a half day of vacation Thursday and all day Friday....probably be by my lonesome, Robin can not take off due to others out on vacation. But we will be down Saturday for the meet. Goobler's mountain cove (light blue star) has a nice area to the right just about where the star is on the map. If you go all the way to the back you could get blocked in by the big cruisers and houseboats that cove out back there. Now, not trying to confuse anyone but there is one more spot that I was in last weekend that could be very nice and I have highlighted on here with a purple arrow at the top of the map. We were there last weekend and there is amble room for all the boats as well as good access to areas where you could surf or wake board. Water depth is about 20 feet where we were tied up. For you folks coming from Aunt's creek, the trip would be about an extra 5 to 10 minutes to either the Purple arrow or Blue star from where you were last year (the Red star).

Once I get situated at Mill Creek and get the toys in the water, can message you and see if there is a good place to meet up. Maybe in the cove we will be at Saturday.
@Jim Robeson, as far as I'm concerned you can pick the cove you know that area better than anyone of us. The group that is staying at the resort is not worried about an extra 5 or 10 minute drive. Last year 2 boats went from Oak Hill down to the cliffs across from Big Cedar 55 minute drive one way just to explore
I'm hoping to go back to the lake again this weekend to meet up with @Boat Crazy . Maybe between the two of us we can come up with a good spot for all of us.
I think we should go with the blue star that Jim suggested for Saturday because he is the man with the plan ! All I know is we need to hit the rope swing area maybe Thursday or Friday and block it all off with our yamaha's ! Kids and adults just loved that place !
We have ours in the dry dock at Port of Kimberling. Will give you a shout on what day we decide to go down, hopefully the rain will stop for the weekend. Speaking of weather...
Saturday the 11th..ill be there around 10-10:30...i dont have the fancy water sport stuff so if others want to get there earlier..ill drop anchor and start up home base.
