Table Rock Lake, June 8-12 2016

[QUOTE="I will be down there on the lake several times before the meet up.
Sure, rub it in....[/QUOTE]
Not rubbing it in. Shoot, I haven't even been out on the water like most of you all. That is going to change after this dang rain we are about to get goes away.

Did you make it on Saturday? What was the water temperature?

I was there this past Saturday to do some other things to the boat but didn't get in the water. There were some kids swimming while I was there but I have to think the water temp is maybe in the low 60's right now...not very warm!!

I was there Sunday and the lowrance said 67 to 70 degrees in the James and the white arms. I jumped in... Didn't regret it the second time.

Massive algae bloom on the rock..btown nasty water. .great news it should clear up by our meet up

Is that mostly in the James arm or all over? Are there web resources to help monitor what's happening? Thanks,
Matt

We are planning on coming @mattschepker . Lodging is a little in the air for us still, but "Goto lake and pull the boat!" is listed on my calendar weekend before.

No Idea where I am staying but probably my friends place between the swings and baxter.

that fine.... just let me know the area when you figure that out

I believe the place we are staying at is just across the HWY 13 bridge from Kimberling City on the south side of the lake and east of the bridge.

Is that the bridge that is under construction @Boat Crazy ?

This event can't get here soon enough!!!

Kimberling Inn and resort is a common one in that area, but there are several to choose from. Yes, that would be the bridge that is under construction, however, @007 , will be turning into the resort area before that construction.

I stand corrected, reread , and now believe he will be just across the bridge under construction and then turn right into resort. If that is the one, 007 will be just a few minutes drive from us. @007, I will be down there several days before your arrival. I can give you an update on how tight the crossing is for boat towing, as I will be attempting it, or will have to make about a 1 hour detour to go around.

@Boat Crazy

I saw an update on the bridge progress. I tried to find the article to link but now I can't seem to find it. The Kimberling City Bridge rehab project is on schedule and supposed to be complete by the end of May. I may have raised the alarm for no good reason.

It's better to know before hand and be ready for it. Still a great heads up @Higgy

We are getting closer to this event!!! Can't wait! My boat is not complete from its off-season changes but hopefully it will be in a week or so!

Thank you for the update. I plan on being there 28 May and will definitely check out the bridge situation.
