The wave also is much shorter and smaller with chop. Had a buddy come on today and got me dialed. He is a God damn master at auto wake and tuning a moomba.
Looking good but lip getting a lot of white wash. Maybe more fine tuning? Or maybe it’s the chop you mentioned? Not knocking it all, just noticed it on video and pics.
The chop was massive. It was so hard to get anything clean. I was with two dudes who are like masters at building a wave lol. One owns a Pavati the other a Max. One is damn near a pro surfer. They even said the chop was outrageous and made it very hard to surf. I need to get out later in the day and take some more videos. But she's getting dialed for sure
it's funny my buddy said my goofy wave is way better than his pavati. So that's pretty cool. He was also blown away by how big the makai was. So was my buddy with a Max.
Freaking NW purists.
Our midwestern rivers and lakes run on agricultural runoff and sewage.
What's wrong with that? Most of it is treated, actually. lol

I am almost always at Stevens. It's only 10 min away from the crib. On the weekends were at whatcom. Sometimes durable ng the week we will hit samamish. We are currently looking for a dock to buy on whatcom.
There's 2 super dialed boats on stevens. The rest have their riders 3-5ft from the boat and the pitch is outrageous. That what I love about SC. You can get 8-9 degrees of pitch and still see over the bow.
Eating a sammich while staying cool . Well about as cool as you can get during late summer in the south lol. I loved the two tier platform on the Yamaha as well but I also like the fact I can have this one in the water without worrying about the rub rail.
A buddy's buddy of mine I just saw was selling his 2019 and knowing him I am guessing that will be to buy a 2020 so I am pretty stoked I may have an opportunity to ride behind one of these. It's all about who you know in life, especially when they are boat people.
What is the deadrise like in Moombas/Supras? I can't tell if it is just the photos, but they look like they are really flat bottomed.
