Just got the build date on our 2021 Moomba Max- December. We are looking at doing a factory tour while it’s being built (if we can work it into our schedule).
Want to know something funny? All year I've been riding around with an unregistered boat lol. Well actually we did register a boat, just the wrong one. We got our 2021 tag renewals in and I noticed I didn't have one for the Moomba. After several emails with the county license office they said my boat was not registered in 2020 in my county per their records. I'm like that can't be right because I know I got 2020 stickers. LOL for some stupid reason we forgot to update the license office late last year to register in my county since I bought the boat in 2019 in a different county and dealer registers the first year. We basically registered our old AR192 last year

Congrats and should be a nice xmas present if it's delivered in time!
I did the factory tour. Well worth it if you're in the area. They run a tight ship there at Skiers Choice and I think you'll like what you see. They come down the same line and staging areas with the Supra's. You might even catch some future development stuff like I saw when we went. Some decent BBQ not too far away either. You'll likely get the tour with Drew Tinker and he is a cool guy and one of the SC owner's son. Sitting in your own boat while on the factory floor is pretty cool. I got to sit in mine while a lady was installing the cockpit speakers. Be sure to have your salesman work with Cindy at SC to get you a few pics of your boat as it's being built. They don't want you to share those pics but they will send them if you ask. I have pics of mine while it was in two halves, when it was mated and when most of the boat was built. It's pretty cool seeing that. They may do the tour a bit different with the whole COVID thing and all but hopefully you get to see most of the facility. Boatmate Trailers is literally right next door so that is where your trailer is built.

Thanks for the info! At a minimum I will request some pictures of the build. We are still a bit undecided about a tour as the factory is about a 10 hour drive.
Also, we won’t pick the boat up from the dealer until the end of April/early May. That being said, when the dealer gets the boat set up this winter we will go take a look.
the grey one with the pro tower is what ours should be like except for blue and grey. Mine goes into production tomorrow, hoping he can get me some pictures while it’s being made.

A guy on the Moomba forum who swaps from boat to boat each year it seems now has a Max these days and he recently swapped out his Flow 2 surf system for the Flow 3 which has the extra tab and actuator on the inner corners, He posted some pics and vids of his new wave and it looks so good. He’s had a Supra SL, MB, Tige, Makai and now the Max. He is running WM rear bags, stock 50o midship, 600 lb bag and 450 lbs of lead in the bow to achieve a 9 degree pitch. Looks legit! He is 6’3” 230 lbs for size reference.
Just got word our Moomba Max is being built next week already...I’ve asked the dealer to get us some pictures during and after the build. Can’t wait to see them!
Got the boat winterized and also have it a DA polish using some Hula Boat Care Hang Ten Wax and it really brought out a nice shine. Stuff goes on and off easy and has a nice smell.
so I went to the other side, I was looking to have a 2021 Moomba Makai built, but my local dealer didn’t have any build slots, and due to territory restrictions I could not buy one from another dealer. I had to settle to for this used 2020 Supra SL450. I drove to Atlanta and picked it up Friday.

Looks like the same SL I saw being built while visiting the factory. It was their first production boat sprayed with the new gold flake. I told Drew Tinker they should have named the gel color “Gold Digger” . Looks great and congrats! @PaulyB! ?
While I was getting mine winterized at the dealer Friday they had a SA that they were PDI’ing. Their next available build slot isn’t until June for a Supra!!

Thanks! It’s very possible this was the boat you saw, it was Supra’s brochure/demo boat for 2020. The pictures don’t do it justice... it’s beautiful...
It looks like the same build inside and out that I had seen while there. They only build a little over 500 Supra’s each year and not many do the white rub rail so chances are good that’s the one I saw. Congrats your new boat is badass!

That thing is beautiful! I'm also on Lake Anna! I have a 2015 AR210. Really loving some of the newer Moomba's though. Working on convincing the wife that we need to upgrade. Which dealer did you talk to?
