What’s changed on the 210 fsh sport since 2018?

Hi everyone,

I recently put down a $500 refundable deposit on a 2021 210 fsh sport. This weekend a local posted a 2018 model that already has trolling motor, gps/fish finder, etc.

I’m wondering what mechanical and/or functional upgrades have been made since 2018. I believe some additional noise prevention, but what else?

Any info you have to help me understand the value proposition between the two years will be appreciated.

I think the 2018 doesn't have the back rest for the jump seats

I believe it is the same boat from that perspective. I went to check what service manual was out there for the 2021 and it pointed to the 2018 version so that would be a good indicator.

How many hours are on the 2018? This boat is old enough that the hours could be getting up to a point where some maintenance will be coming up. I can give you the list of maintenance items that may be coming due once I know the hours. And keep in mind, the actual hours of use will probably be much higher than the hour meters.

May I ask what the price is?

What year are the electronics on the 2018? Like everything else these products get upgrades.

I think the anti corrosion costing on the jet pumps is better on the 2019 and up?

Connext screen interface looks different and has some different feature, the older models had the RPMs in two digits times 100 at the bottom of the Home Screen just under the fuel and volt meter.

Heres a shot of the 2020 screen.

I think the 2018’s came with dual batteries.... as you can see from the 2020 both battery voltages are displayed on the Home Screen, not sure how the 2018 measures the two house batteries.

There could be other changes in the functionality of the connext screen that I’m not aware of. I really like the ability to set run and off times on the live well on my 2020.

Fuel burn stats that I believe are the same. Capt Steve also has a set of fuel stats.

They are now using one complete tube of sealant on the new boat. Old boats only half a tube. Sorry had to do it.

Found another difference today between the 2018 and the 2020 when I was shopping for what I’d need to R&R the pumps to do an impeller swap. My shop manual showed a gasket and an O ring like the 2018, but the parts fische showed two O rings and no gasket. I called Babbitt’s up and talked with a great CSR who confirmed that the fische was correct for the 2020.


This is the 2018 Jet Unit 1 fische.



You can see how the impeller housing and duct are all one piece (?) on the 2020 below. The jet nozzle and jet deflector are also different, and it appears that the impeller sleeve is now serviceable. Unless I missed something it appears the service is easier on the 2020 and its less money if you to replace that section of the pump. Just went and checked the 2019, looks like these changes were made in the 19 model year.

Couple of small new things for 2021: Marine mat style decking, stereo upgrade options, a new tie down on the stern. I think it's for surfing ballast bags but could be wrong.

Love this! I just put a deposit down on a 2021 210 FSH Sport today. I'm recreating this scene with my wife and kids as soon as we get it! Happy boating!

Yes those are dog bones for the ballast bags...the vids I’ve seen on boat test . Com with the wake booster kits make mention of the dog bones.
