Is there a transom light that is designed to work when moving (temp out of water). Not asking about legalities, EVERYONE on this lake runs with them on.
Just keep in mind these lights are not meant to be used on plane (they must be kept cooled). I had one go bad, which they replaced but...be careful when using.
That particular brand from "does not make a light to be used on plane" (out of the water) because they get too hot and burn out. That was a quote from them. They did replaced mine under warranty though.

Lumitec, West marine sells them and there a good imi under their on brand. I have the $100 unit. I iwere to do it again 8d go for the RGB version, possibly buy up to two more. Mine works as advertised and is advertised to run in and out of the water.
I hung a push broom on the tower of mine while taking down christmas lights. Does that count as "working on it"??
I think this is the first year I've put a cover on a boat and not touched it for 3mo straight. End/middle of Jan will see the start of some projects on it though.....I hope.

I removed the current amp and electronics board as well as cut a new one to fit. I’m not looking forward to all the wiring a completely knew sound system requires. So far I’ve got 4 amps, 11 speakers (6 with LEDs), led controller, and wired and wireless remotes.
That being said the cleanout tray has an access port to allow you to reach down into the bilge. If you’re being towed you’re going to be on the stern hooking up lines anyways so it’s just easier to remember I would think having it all in the bilge or stern area. Ultimately it’s up to you where you want to put it.
I realize the thread has gone elsewhere...but with regards to installing valves on the cooling intake lines...has anyone done this on a 242 Limited S E-Series that has any pictures? I'm interested in doing this same mod.
So I understand, if this is done then on the possibility of an engine failure, one could run on only the functional engine at a higher RPM than just no wake mode?
Thanks
Actually, my wife had heard that, so she went out and bought the soap (and left it to me to dice and deploy). I figured what could it hurt? So it's in the boat. Hopefully it doesn't backfire on us!
