What did you do to your boat today?

Over the past few days I have got the hydro turf off of the platform and pulled all the snaps for the carpet today now just waiting on my sealant to come in so I can patch the screw holes. Getting ready for a install of aqua marine deck.

Nice just remember to take pics and show us your work!

Got my new amp rack installed....

Super clean wire hiding. Also it raised amps off the floor 5" which is a big plus. Step up part to left just lifts in and out to hide batteries

Perko switch still uncovered

I was working in the boat garage/mancave with the needed tunes playing on the boat stereo and my house battery only lasted about an hour. Time to pull and have tested and probably replace. Wife and I discussed needed undates and improvements we want to do to it this year. We want to do a new head unit, a chartplotter GPS unit with sonar for fishing, RGB speaker rings for the cockpit speakers and replaced the swim deck speakers. I'm still using the original head unit believe it or not. We'll go with a bluetooth unit and it'll most likely be a Fusion. Looking for recommendations for a chartplotter. Like to stick with a Garmin if possible since I'm familiar with how they generally operate.

Here's a little bit of my handy work this weekend. Hung the neon and installed racks for the paddleboards.

new bunk boards courtesy of @Betik and his father, it's good to have friends!

LOL boring, but much needed new cover, which needs to be ratcheted down a bit. What's good is the new ratchet cover! Much better than the original cloth/zipper/rusted holder which lasted about a year before rendered useless20200224_142812.jpg20200223_133059.jpg!

Stopped by the storage warehouse to see the boat. Pulled off the cover, looked around like I was doing something, sat in the driver seat for a while and made motor boat sounds, and then left with knowing the day will come (I haven't had it out on the lake since I purchased it last Nov so time is going by very sloooowly).

I replaced the stock Impellers with Solas Impellers that have been repitched and replaced the grease in the cones. I also painted the head / engine covers, routed all the wiring for my new stereo and speakers and installed the stereo, wired and wireless remotes along with two additional sub ports.

More pics pending.

Boy do I feel like I’m lazy after reading all that. Great job!

LOL
Sounds like you need to get out and have a few of these:
? or
?

Went down to the arena, our on site boat barn and uncovered part of the boat and crawled in to check out how I removed a panel nearly 4 years ago to help another member here who had questions on the removal. No, no motorboat sounds were made, but I did make wind sounds on the Beneteau the other day. ;)

Nice warm day today, got out there and installed my @JetBoatPilot console organizer! Thanks Will, I haven’t even been out and I love this mod to death!!!

A few more pics of the mods i installed last weekend.

The two most difficult mods were installingtweeters in the bow (the cushions cover the bezels because of lack of space elsewhere so I had to remove both from each side) and the wireless bow remote (cutting into the seadek there was easy until I thought that the piece of seadeck I was cutting might cost more than the remote I was installing in it).
