Hey folks, just curious what products you guys might be using for cleaning the fiberglass on the inside of the boat, and also what you use for the upholstery? Basic auto cleaning solutions ok, or is there a marine specific (I know Yamaha pushes theirs but that probably has some marketing behind it) cleaner you use?

Thanks to all!

I'll wash mine once a year usually with car wash soap, other than that we will just wipe it down periodically with a wet rag & use a good spray wax.

Our boat sits on a hoist over the water so for exterior cleaning I use Simple Green. For the interior fabric and vinyl I use 303 Marine Cleaner and 303 Aerospace Protectant. Interior still looks brand new!

We use Hot Sauce and Vinyl Sause for wipe down after a day on the water.

I use Vantage boat wash inside and out. I also use cleaning vinegar mixed 1:1 with water in a general purpose hand sprayer to remove water spots.

I use this spray on the outside and the vertical surfaces on the inside

On the vinyl I use star brite products.

Meguiar's liquid car wash inside and out as it won't strip the wax. Then Mequiar's Ceramic Hybrid spray on wax. Easiest wax I've ever used.

For hard water spots, I use the white vinegar/water 1:1 mix in a spray bottle too. Takes the spots right off in just a couple minutes in the parking lot and boat looks great for the ride home.

Hot Sauce for the outside between regular car washes. 303 Aerospace for the interior vinyl. Simple Green for the Marine Mat.

I found cleaning vinegar (white) at Menards, cheaper than the food grade.
