I have a hard time inserting the fush adapter into the "joint assembly" receptacle to run the engine for flushing etc. It seems like it should not be so difficult. When I look into the female receptacle pictured below, I see what looks like the tip of the flush adapter. I could not pull it out although did not try very much since I do not know if this is normal or not. Can anyone tell me if the flush adapter is easy to insert and twist to lock? When you look inside, is there an opening for the tip of the adapter to easily fit into? If that "tip" that I am seeing was not there, the adapter would easily insert and twist to lock but on my boat is very difficult. Thanks for any replies to this thread.
