I havent, but I will, thank you. I just want to do something that will attach to the tower and roll down in rain just one layer of protection from the sting of rain drops on your face.
Same thing I’m after, the hard top Im putting on will provide more cover on the sides as well, and unlike the rag top will not hold water in a puddle until the boat lists a bit when you walk on one side and it dumps all that water on you. The camper canvas will be for overnighting obviously, I hope I can incorporate a window or two, access to the anchor definitely, and hopefully a full flap on the helm side with a big screen. I’ve stayed out a few times on the water, and have stayed in the boat in a campground, mainly to keep rain off of me and a place to make some coffee and breakfast if its raining or windy.

That will be awesome, Youll have to post some pictures when all complete.
Ours would be more for just ensuring a somewhat dryer space for kids if the weather does take a nasty turn on our while we are out. Most of the places we go to do not allow overnight usage. So sadly I wont get to have that experience.

The lakes where I go, its not okay to camp out overnight but you can fish overnight.. so I just make sure to leave a couple of lines in the water…, that and there is no one around. I’ll post up pics for sure.

Thats a great work around, I will have to look into that!
I think Wallenpaupack allows fishing all night. I am going to have to give it a try. Its something I've wanted to do since getting the bigger boat.

You know how to fix that, right????
Yes, then the plague hit and the place we were about to check out was leveled in a hurricane. My father is still rebuilding/hanging drywall DIY @83 yo in his place in Englewood. I lived in Orlando from 86-89 and no ac in the car. I also learned to dislike 3+ months of 90-100+ degree temps and high humidity unless you are near the ocean. The older I get and working outside in Winter has made us think of points South again. I gotta say, I don’t mind snow but it is hard to put your boots on and go out tapping in a cold hard rain.
It will be hard to leave this house that I cut and processed/milled the trees to build from the 480ac property and 33 years here. But, there is another nauti itch to scratch.
Anyway, I digress.

Contrary to popular opinion, there's plenty of boating in the desert (where there's no humidity)! Come to AZ! When it's 110 out I'm just out on the lake under the bimini :D

I'm lucky in that my 195 fits right into my garage and the lake is 20 mins from my house....
