27' new Yamaha model 275 jet boat to be unveil Thursday at the Miami Boat Show

The above are screen shots from baysidejetdrive.net. Sorry, but $130k, I can buy all kinds of other boats I've always wanted.

To each his own but when the 242x came out for like 75k I was thinking of so many other boats I could buy for that amount of money. Something you can stay on for a weekend or so... but this one for 115k! Wow.... nahh... I love my yamaha but this one is prob the only one I'll have.

So my SX240 has 836 gal of storage space. And a thrird of the price of the new 27ft with its 740 gal of storage space. Good to see yamaha put all 3 feet to good use. ?Screenshot_20190214-054748_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20190214-054739_Chrome.jpg

Dash looks pretty sweet. At least they got that going for them. Screenshot_20190214-060127_Chrome.jpg

90 gallon fuel capacity!
Ok, so they built this to be a cruiser day boat, if that's a thing. Bigger water.
Toilet makes sense.
The side window style probably helps with water spray and big waves when in choppy.
The sink makes sense if you are to be out the entire day and they already had the tech from the platform wash down.
The hard top would be nice for a bigger boat IMO.
I like seeing that there are going to be options on this thing so you can get a different price point.
The drawers have me thinking.... Fridge?!
A fridge would be another great thing for a boat this size.
These are meant to be a flagship boat and I think they did what they needed to.
The tech is a bit much for my taste, but I get it. It's probably the only thing I would go backwards a bit on, but I'm old I guess, lol!

This boat will sell on Lanier. So many day cruisers and people who bought sea Ray's because they wanted bigger then standard bow riders but they head back to dock at end of day.

I would say there are more boat 27+ foot on Lanier then under.

I buy a used one in 10 years when the price is down and someone kept in good condition.

Lovely helm and dash. Definitely a nice boat for bigger water. Pardon my ignorance, but what does yacht certified mean in terms of capacity?

You are soooo right. I will stick with my $20k Yamaha and my $50k Beneteau. and IMHO have the best of both boating worlds.

Honestly, I wish there were less of them out there!

It means they don't have to put a sticker for number of people and Max weight.

I think this would be pretty easy to attach to any Yamaha’s, I’m actually surprised I’ve never seen an aftermarket kit for this! Wish I would have thought of it a long time ago!

Yamaha can cancel the big reveal this morning. All the information is already out lol!

I think I'm still going to watch though. Maybe something they haven't released yet?

Wonder if that dealer was supposed to wait until AFTER the reveal to update the website?

I searched Windline, and didn't find anything. One of the Ladder OEM's has to make it for Yamaha. Honestly, it looks like the centerpole step ladder with a seat attached to it. It's not a fold up, as it looks like a receiver hitch on the stern. A person could fabricate them, but I would rather find the nice polished stainless ones pre-made. Maybe we will see the official Yamaha parts list updated after the release. But I suppose they will be stupid expensive for all the idiots that drop them in the lake like a table leg.

Get your minds working guys. This may be the mod of the summer for us Redneck Yachtclub folks.

PS: my 242 is not Yacht rated, but it's RN Yachtclub rated!!
