I went nuts when at Home Depot and bought 4”, 3” and 1.5” L brackets/mounts. As it turns out I will probably just use the four 1.5”ers to secure the top shelf and some stainless screws to hold the bottom shelf to the lip under each side wall. I also bought two sets of hooks to create a mount for my tower mirror, I’m not sure which I’ll use yet.

I installed the clarion MW1 on my 2014 AR192. It's tight, behind the panel all the components are touching each other. I still need to trim the dashboard for everything to fit.
I have other trick mods coming, but everything is shipping slow now.

I took advantage of the stay at home order and in the morning I replaced the standard screws on my speakers with “security screws” and installed a knob (?) on my steering wheel. After dinner I cut and roughly fitted two shelves for the head compartment.

Let us know how that knob works out. I've been debating on installing one, since I tend to keep one hand on the throttles and one on the wheel.

Tell me more about the knob
They sell on amazon, I think I searched for “steering wheel knob”, for $10 to $60. Others have installed them like @swatski . I broke my left arm / wrist last summer so it’s not the same (hurts sometimes when I apply too much pressure or do some weird movements with it, or it’s cold out) and I thought the knob might help when I’m pulling tubers, especially when I’ve got my right hand on the throttles. I think I paid $20ish for mine. If I find I don’t like it at least it’s easy to remove and I won’t be out much money.

Installed an onboard 2-bank battery charger.
It will give me some peace-of-mind this summer when my boat is floating in its slip during the week while I'm home cutting grass.
I also hope it improves the life-span of my batteries.

I've been waiting to do this one for some time. I saved up and finally bought one (didn't even tell the wife - please don't say anything). The install was a very simple process but it had to be aligned perfectly. I took several measurements to make sure I didn't screw it up.

Actually the hardest part was finding the perfect location.

I think it came out pretty good. It's probably my best job ever! Let me know what you think. Please say positive things (I don't take criticism to well - my wife says I'm too sensitive) :banghead:

Anyways, A BIG shoutout and thank you to @Murf'n'surf for hooking me up.

Below is a picture (I know...not the best angle but I didn't want to get wet)

My shipping cover gave up the waterproofing ghost at some point over the winter. Took the cover off to find the inside sopping wet, some mold starting to grow on gelcoat (not upholstery, thank god), and the back seadek looking like a science experiment. I got annoyed and covered it back up for a couple weeks before it was nice enough to spend some time cleaning the boat.

In the meantime, found out that my old beast powerwasher was dead as a doornail, so picked up a little electric 2000PSI one. I tried the old beast on my seadek once from pretty far away and it cut it right up. Figured I'd give the little guy a try, and... well I'm in love. Seadek came out brand new by the time I was done with it.

I skipped right to the post-cleaning beers when I was done, so no full boat pics yet - but that powerwasher was perfect.

She's ready for our first outing this weekend, so I'm stoked.

Yes, I did! An unexpected bonus for sure! Using it right now to support my Bloody Mary. Thank you!

I discovered how well my 2k psi electric power washer cleaned my dirty Seadek on our cruiser. I was really impressed! Was surprised how dirty it really was.

I'm surprised you don't have covered storage of some sort for at least during the winter months.

I finished installing the shelves and creating a place to store the tower mirror. I should have done this years ago.

It maybe hard to see in the pics but shelves are 12” deep so the surface area more than doubled. I reused the oem facing on the lower shelf and tilted the upper shelf. There are also eye screws(?) on each side wall a few inches above each shelf that I can use to tie/bungee cord items on the shelf down with.

The mirror mount consists of three eye screws and bungee cords. It sits on the 2” lip that is already there. I covered the lip and part of the wall that faces the mirror with some left over hydro turf.

The electric drill and screw drivers got a lot of use this evening.

What kind of rod is that and what did you use to fasten your pounches to the wall?

The rod is an RV hanger rod I bought at Walmart a few years ago. It barely fits but worth the effort even though it is only used occasionally.

The pouches are a door mounted shoe holder, also from Walmart, that has been cut in half. The tops are secured to the backs of the walls they are mounted to with staples and to the front with oem screws, washers and caps. If you go this route I recommend that you stay away from the shoe holders made of plastic. These are more apt to get moldy as I learned from experience/inexperience.

I've been putting off pressure washing my mats for fear of messing them up. So I decided to give it a try after seeing this post. Worked pretty well. I used a 40 degree spray head and it didn't cut anything up.
