So I finally finished the VHF radio install I started here and then continued here. No pics since it was just fishing the antenna cable to the radio and adding a connector. I realized after I got home that I could have just used my tape measure to fish the wire so this install would have been finished a post ago! ?

Oh well, it seems to work. At least it receives the WX channels. Haven't tried Tx yet.

Upgraded from regular TV's to TVW's. Huge difference in the wake! Very happy with the upgrade!

Also swapped out the POS/worthless PVC boat guides to a set I found @ Cabelas. Again, very happy with the upgrade!

Look at the core rot. Its not bad just suprised to see it still wet from last year. It's only soft about an 1/8 of an inch on one side.... gonna let it dry off before installing the new latch!

Did you try loading the boat with these yet. Wonder if they will leave black marks on the white hull that I have.
I have taken it out one time since the install and no issues. My hull is darker, but I will keep and eye out and try to reply back to this post in a month or 2.

Finally burned down the topped “winter gas” from the tank and got the kids out for the first time in a month. We covered a lot of miles, especially since SCDNR says you have to remain underway at all times unless fishing.

First time on lake this year. Had a major fail though, left ladder down on one full lap at WOT. Didn't even notice until I put the boat on the trailer, ladder still down  Thankfully everything looked ok.

We have all left our ladder down. :) I did it so many times I installed a switch that triggered a warning light on the dash so I would remember to stow it.

My kids don't even use the ladder anymore. I had to instate a rule that whoever puts the ladder down is responsible for stowing it, and if you forget, you have to stay home next time we go out. And it's only been left down once.... and it was my wife. And you guessed it, she didn't stay home the next time.

I would love to see the write up on that! What kind of switch, where did you mount it, and how did you run the wire? With the little kids, that would sure be handy.
