@zipper I used to have the very first one that you posted. A retired State Farm agent that was a neighbor of ours growing up gave it to me. We always talked about traveling, especially since he had a Holiday Rambler motor home that I thought was so cool.

I used to have 3 or 4 of those Atlas & Gazeteer books in my car at all times (covering my home state Michigan and surrounding states). Very useful. Better in some ways than GPS.

I get flashbacks of my old ford F-150, 3 speed stick on the column. Remember paying a local garage $50 to install a Hurst 3 speed stick on the floor! The classic H pattern manual.

Funny, I have been there, I do not alter course unless there is a risk of collision. I try not to sail into that kind of situation for obvious reasons.
