I figured that I’d share my experience with the 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating. Short story short, it’s AMAZING!

Short story long, I’ve had the boat for 3 full seasons. It was an eye opener when I learned first hand about black boats and water spots. I’ve even told myself a few times that I’d never buy a black boat again (or anything dark). I’ve learned that keeping a coat of wax on the boat helps but it doesn’t last long. Like maybe 3-4 trips out on the water and the water spots start showing after washing (which I typically do after every outing). I’ve tried different waxes and spray coatings but none seemed to last very long. Fast forward to several weeks ago. I saw some YouTube videos about this 303 Graphene Spray and it got really good reviews. I ordered a few bottles and have been putting it on my cars. Well, I decided to try it on the boat and OMG the water spots are gone! I put this on about 4 weeks ago and had multiple outings and it’s holding up great! No signs of water spots. This stuff is a game changer IMO.

The boat was waxed at the end of the year. I was getting water spots a few weeks ago so I knew the wax was wearing off. I put this stuff on and I’m super impressed!

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

This is the rear corner which typically gets the most water spots. Notice not a single water spot and the mirror like finish. I’m amazed to see practically ever single arm hair.

The water pissers which ALWAYS have water spots. Notice there’s water spots close to the pissers where I must not have wiped on the 303 Spray but no where else.

This is the side of the boat. This is an incredible mirror finish IMO. Not a single water spot.

I am still getting some water spots on the decals though. However, if that’s all I get then that’s A-OK 👌 with me.

After trying it on my car, with positive results, I applied it to my black wave runner, and can say it does a great job shedding water and giving it a nice deep shine! Haven’t tried it on the boat yet, as I applied REJEX at the beginning of the season.

Interested in finding out how long it last for you before needing to reapply.

@Cleveland Steamer,

I was about to write a review of this stuff as well. I had a thread going with input from guys earlier this spring when it was "new" to the market. Just haven't had a ton of time to post anything but, I 100% agree with you.

This product is awesome! I love 303 products so I was a bit bias when I bought it but honestly love it. And surpsied how little I used. I still half a bottle after doing the 242 a honda and an expedition. Boom! Totally worth every penny.

I put it on the black hull of my 2014 242LS and ended up putting it on every surface of the boat that was exposed. Was a PIA to take off. I was so impressed I ended up putting it on our cars. I have 2006 black Honda Accord with NO clear coat left and the paint quickly disappering(getting it painted next month). Honda wouldnt keep the wax for more than a few days so I thought, What the hell... Well thats been 4 months of sitting outside (no garage time) in the GA heat, rain, humidity and all the elements plus numerous washes and the Graphen has laughed at mother nature. Water beads up and rolls off to this date.

I noticed very few spots on the 242 and it isnt as dirty as it should be this time of year in the boating season. I've washed it several times and the water/suds just roll off as soon as it hits the hull. So I had to work fast lol.

100% agree and have/would recommend this to anyone, boat or car.

Here are a few pix. It's hard to see on the white upper portion of the boat but even afteall th exposure and heat it still beads up just like the cars.uUNQgbyCTGS5BeSDhsKa4Q.jpgxEHQbdjGRsK7wLLw5l36zQ.jpg34HxVtXnQJyQf+dcaniUIA.jpgIMG_0874.JPG

Alright you sold me. Just placed an order. The Royal Blue on my boat is a water spot magnet.

Are you putting it on the Stainless Steel as well? I always have issues with that as well as on my SS board racks and rod holders.

@HangOutdoors,

I have not put it on any SS items. Didn’t see any reason too, but don’t see why not…mine was just a personal choice nothing scientific or any form of reasoning lol

Dammit! More cool products to buy. You Guys are killing me.
I have been getting reminder emails from Amazon that they miss me and haven't seen me in some time, which really hasn't been that long - but I had cut myself off from buying things for the boat unless it is absolutely a must...... Fishing gear doesn't count :)

Anyhow figured give them some business and pulled the trigger on two bottles. $17 bucks each.

Anyone use this stuff on glass?
. My boat windows are always filthy.
Also if I ever want to put tiny on my windows, would it still be possible putting this on the windows?

@dan144k I am with you. My windows are always rough and full of water spots. Would love to find a product that helps with that. I clean them all the time but it doesn't take much. Even with the mooring cover on.

I used this on the black hull that has light scratches from the bunks and it makes them look much less noticeable. Best way to get rid of water spots is using a car detail squeegee especially if you boat in salt water you get water spots and salt residue. After pulling the boat out of the water I use a portable shower that holds about 3 gallons of water and rinse the hull squeegee then micro fiber towel and it’s almost spotless. Takes about 10 minutes if I don’t do this every little bead that is on the boat evaporates on the drive home laving the crusty salt behind.

@Cleveland Steamer and @flyingnugget I got a bottle of this for Christmas and the weather is nice enough to apply. How did you guys prep the surface? I was thinking cleaner wax but the instructions on the bottle just say make sure surface is clean and dry.

Clean and dry, no wax. I use it on my vehicles, it's great stuff when applied exactly as instructed.

Yea I’d say that’s a nice shine. And only after one application..

That looks great. I have been using rejex, very happy with it, I have a dark boat too. But I still have a bottle left, so I think I will have the boys apply 2 coats to the bottom as usual, and try the 303 above the waterline.

Is there any benefit to an additional coat?

Full boat coverage, all fiberglass inside and out you will get 2-3 full applications. It only needs re applied every 6 months to a year.

I used 303 graphene last year, applied in early spring and it kept the boat looking good through the entire season. It wasn't spotless but it looked good enough that I never felt the need to reapply. Will do again in a couple of months.
