If you have the ecoboost change the oil every 5000 or when the oil indicator hits 50%. Whichever comes first. The best thing you can do to extend the life of those cam phasers is frequent oil changes.
Off topic ...... I am surprised that someone hasn't invented an oil cleaner process. Dump in your used oil and it refines it back to near new oil.
This is the NA V8 that was a bespoke build. A full and proper PPF job is insanely labor intensive. This took nearly two weeks and $8k. The Z06 was nearly $7k and also almost 2 full weeks. If someone is pumping out these jobs quick they're using pre-cut kits....which you don't want. And/or doing a rush job....which you also don't want. Modern PPF is amazing. Both of these have the self healing PPF from Suntek, so if you get swirls or minor scratches you just set the car out in the sun and they disappear. There were some stretch marks on the PPF for the Z06 and I took a heat gun and watched them magically disappear. PPF installs like detailing is very much a young mans game. It's brutal on your body.
In theory when you recycle your used motor oil that's what they do. That an other products.
It is the 5.0 V8. We usually still try to stick to changing around 3k-4k miles.. But even my 2011 Camry has a dummy light for me. Ha
Odd...I take mine down to 5 or 10% prior to changing it. I've had both the 2.7 and 3.5L EcoBoost. You can track it through FordPass.
Perhaps they make other products from it but I always thought that they used it for fuel to produce heat in an industrial situation.
Some up here heat their shops with used oil in Winter. There is a furnace for that.
I like the fact your truck has actual gauges. Our Yukon is completely digital. If there is an infotainment glitch, we lose everything from the dash and radio. No knobs, switches, nada.
So that whole car is wrapped in clear plastic? Like every bit of paint?

I assumed as much. When I was getting quotes supposedly $1,500 for a two door sports car I was told the wrap is very thin compared to PPF which is why PPF is more expensive. This was just a few months ago but it didn’t line up with our paying $1k for a clear bra only over about six years ago. That took a full day yet the latest guy said he could wrap the entire car in one day eight hour day, two at most. He said he could do a clear bra and mirrors in one day and offered no discounts if I purchased a precut kit for him to install. I got the feeling that despite the pics of some of his previous jobs that he was going to do a rushed/half assed job.
Yup every bit of paint it covered. Even the piano black trim. There's a couple different reasons why you'd want to ceramic coat it. One and probably the biggest is you want to make sure the edges of the PPF are coated. Helps keep things like dirt from building up or sticking in that location. The other is the more obvious one of making it easier to clean. PPF does a good job from knicks and scratches, but not necessarily is it super easy to clean. You don't want to go crazy with abrasives or chemicals on PPF either.
Ahhhhh, yeah vinyl wrap and PPF are different beasts.
