Proof that even the smallest boats benefit from having trim tabs. Big 40hp motor too. From California, A long way from home.

I got to admit…I’m having a case of dinghy envy. Lol
Those little RIB’s lean left/right so easy. Smart to install tabs….I usually just sat off center to level out the boat. :)

Ya, I sit on the starboard pontoon with left hand on the tiller although here I sat on the other side, while the wife holds on for dear life. The twist of the throttle feels better to me sitting on starboard now. No console on our Zodiac and we do not use the plank seats while the dogs are aboard.

The weather is thick. 94% humidity, but only 69 deg this morning . The birds are out and I have to mow again.

Funny, Summer started in April this year. We fished alot from the Whaler then. We had a hot , dry Spring and the rains that started a week or so ago are welcome. However, we are wet enough now and would like another dry stretch.

Smoke on the water. Smoke from the Quebec wildfires descended on us today. It cut visibility to about a mile out on the lake.

Took the kids to Orlando Saturday for my daughters 15th birthday.
A couple pictures from the Orlando Eye and the crazy swing ride we did called the Orlando Star Flyer.
The Orlando Star Flyer is 450’ tall and swings you at 60mph!
