I see other posts which show the location of the main fuse box bit no idea how to remove the cover on it? It is hard to see well and my eyes are getting old? Maybe my brain to I am generally very mechanically inclined but subject to dumb errors and oversight/overthinking

Ha figured it out. Have to order a new fuse cover now though. It looked like you would pull out to clear the two rectangle pegs but nope. Squeeze at each point and pull a bit.

😵‍💫 lessons learned hard way stick in brain better

Is there a common relay/fuse that would affect both starters?
The clean out hatch interlocks? Is that hatch propped open ? Those interlocks not only kill the engine but will not allow the starters to engage

Thanks. I should have mentioned I checked: Emergency shutoff (clip that attaches to your life vest) is good, both throttles in neutral, cleanout ports are in place and good.
I had initially hooked the starting battery in +- reversed order like a total 1D10T so was thinking fuse somewhere. I checked the ones in the battery compartment all looked good. Then, after breaking one of the engine fuse covers (this is going to be fun to find a replacement for, all yamaha parts list if full fuse box for like $300).
I am checking those tonight but I don't see anything labeled that looks starter related.

Does your connext screen still work? Everything else still work?

Okay, on the solenoid for the starter relay which I believe is on the solenoid itself there is a fuse there so check that one.

Yes, all else works. Will be digging it out again this weekend to try again. Will take a look mine is a 2019 SX240. Thank you for the guideance/ideas they are much appreciated.
