Happy July 4, 2025 Stay safe and watch out for the crazies.

I was really low on fuel from my last outing and testing a new set of impellers so I took off about 0630 this morning and went and put 46 gallons of fuel in the boat for next week…

Hope everyone has a super good Independence Day Celebration! Take time to appreciate living in our great great country!

We got up early this morning and beat the crowds to the ramp. We went to our usual cove and were the only boat in there for about 2 hours. By the time we left, it was so full we had a hard time getting out! We did have a good time watching all the crazy people out today. Actually, I expected more people, but the heat may have kept some away.

Holidays here in North AL aren’t usually too bad where we boat. We put in around 9am and are usually off the water by 3:30-4pm. The craziness doesn’t start here until around 4:30-5 when everyone puts in to go anchor, drrink, and watch the local firework shows from the water.

Last night Cocoa Beach celebrated 100 years with a drone show.
We anchored about 1/2 mile from ground zero.
It was cool.

I stay off the water this weekend, its nothing but amateur hour.
I didn't even so much as go look at my boat this weekend. She stayed in storage. LOL! Saw pics of the ramp to my local lake and it wasn't totally full, which was surprising. Also saw the party cove in another one and it had maybe 15 boats in it. I feel party cove there pretty much died with covid. I haven't been back to that lake since 2022 anywho.
